Description: The Tour de North Port is an on-road bicycle tour that will feature the natural beauty of North Port. Riders will traverse North Port with a 15, 35, or 65-mile ride that begins with a continental breakfast, raffle entry, and a commemorative t-shirt. All rides will include rest stops with drinks and snacks, mobile SAG support, and a full lunch at the ride’s end!

Information: Pre-registration fee: $35. The first 200 to pre-register by October 10 will be guaranteed a free commemorative ride t-shirt. You may pre-register on-line up to midnight Friday, October 22 ($35) or on the day of the event ($40) at which time t-shirts may also be purchased for $5. Helmets required. Riders under 14 require parent’s consent and must be accompanied by an adult on the ride.

Continental breakfast/on-site registration/check-in begins at 7AM at Dallas White Park. Breakfast from 7-8:30AM. SAG support ends at 2PM. Lunch available from 11AM-2PM. Snack/Rest Stops open from 9-1.

Directions: From I-75 take exit 182 and travel south on Sumter Blvd. Turn right onto Greenwood which is after the third traffic light along Sumter. Follow Greenwood to Dallas White Park. Park head-in along Greenwood, in the YMCA lot, or around the block along Sam Shapos Way.

The Tour de North Port is being presented by People for Trees, Inc. We are a local, non-profit 501(c)(3), group that since 1997 has been promoting the importance of protecting and maintaining a healthy, native tree canopy. This ride will benefit our efforts to create an Environmental Heritage Center for the residents of North Port.
